Welcome to the parish website of St. Joseph Catholic Church!

It is my hope and prayer that you will find the information in this website helpful in learning about our caring parish community located in the beautiful rolling hills and green pastures of Crawford and Richland counties.  Established in 1861, St. Joseph parish has grown to include over 1,300 registered parishioners and is currently a sister parish along with Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Bethlehem, a community encompassing over 600 registered parishioners.  Both parishes are proud to actively support vibrant elementary schools that are committed to academic excellence, authentic Catholic teaching, and strong moral and personal formation. 

Whether you are a long-time parishioner or a new member interested in becoming more involved in your parish, or someone discerning whether to join our community, I invite you to look more closely at the faith community of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  We are a community of believers from all walks of life:  young, old, families, single, retired, widowed, etc.  As our mission statement professes so beautifully, “As a growing community of Roman Catholic believers, we are dedicated to building the Kingdom of God by following the example of St. Joseph our Patron, by striving to grow in holiness by encountering Christ in word and sacrament, and by responding to the needs of our parish, school and community.”
