St. Joseph students braved the cold weather to complete our annual "Rake and Run." This is a wonderful community service project that allows our students the chance to get outside and clean up our town, while also helping those in need. They were rewarded with hot chocolate and cookies, which were graciously purchased by a kind passerby who wanted to reward them for their good deed. Way to go, everyone!

We were blessed to have Korean war vet, Mr. Jim Greter, visit us today to recount his experience in the Army. The kids got to see some old pictures of his time in Germany, his certificate of honorable discharge, his "mess pot" he used to cook in and some old bullets. The students enjoyed asking him questions and listening to his stories. Thank you for coming in, Mr. Greter, but more importantly, THANK YOU (AND ALL OUR COURAGEOUS VETERANS) FOR YOUR SERVICE!
